Lots of info and not wonky
I really like these guys. Both are very sharp but with lots of every day, practical ideas. I would feel comfortable telling my kids to listen to this pod as a way to guide them through their financial lives.

The sweet spot
A perfect mix of in the weeds process and some higher level theory mixed with a bit of humor. I always feel like I learn something and was entertained while I did. Apart from some of horrible takes on movies (TOP GUN) I fantastic podcast!

Come for the interesting hot takes on everything investing related in a casual accessible format. Stay for the hilariously bad takes on TV & Movies which are entertaining nonetheless.

Best easily digestible financial podcast
Everyone knows target date funds can be confusing, not to mention, time consuming, to manage. Luckily, Ben breaks things down in to laymanâs terms and Michael is there to make sure he doesnt get too over enthusiastic.
In all seriousness, these guys are great. If you're looking for stock picking advice you've come to the wrong place. Just solid commentary on financial markets that is easy to digest. Another reviewer commented that itâs like listening to two of your closest friends that have mastered their craft, which is a perfect description. Love the movie, book, and tv show recommendations at the end as well. Buy their books, subscribe to their newsletters, listen to Animal Spirits.

I started my career in Wealth Management in 2016. I wasnât a podcast guy until a friend recommended Michael and Ben, because they keep it simple, apply common sense, critical thinking, and give an educated opinion to the markets and everyday life.
I enjoy the back and forth fellaâs, keep doing great work!

Best all round insights
So Ben and Mike asked listeners to write reviews as theyâve only ever had just under 1000. This is my first review of any podcast and I thought they deserve it. Love the amount they cover per episode as itâs a pretty comprehensive summary of whatâs going on in the markets and pop culture as well as insights into alternatives, passives, crypto etc. I frankly donât know how they find the time to read all the books, blogs, watch all the movies series, still have kids, be married and actually spare a couple of minutes to keep their jobs. đ. Most of all I love the banter and the friendly dissing. My friend and I here in South Africa have a weekly zoom catch-up where for an hour we literally just review each podcast. Great show guys - keep it up.

It Finally Happened
Absolute serendipity on Episode 185 at precisely 28 minutes into the podcast when Ben inadvertently pronounces Jeff Bezosâ name properly (BAE-zoes, not BEE-zoes). This is the only thing that has held me back from giving this podcast a 5-star review - now that it has happened the financial markets, and myself, can finally be at peace and PE ratios will slowly return to the realm of logic.
Great podcast though, you guys are awesome. Ben, please for the love of god come to the light and stay on the Baezos train

Great conversation financial podcast
Some specific points:
- Non-traditional hosts (they donât appear to be the type of people who like to hear themselves talk)

- Sounds like talking to knowledgeable friends

Makes sense (common) to me
Whether it is an intro to back door IRAs (wow that is legal??) to their weekly report from the spirit world, always worth a listen. I have enjoyed hearing their fundamental understanding of the economy evolve over the last year. At first I was not interested in the âtalk your bookâ episodes but I found a few to be great. I would love them to talk to Stephanie Kelton about how investors should work with the crypto-MMT world we are muddling into.

Iâm a UK listener so a few of the specifics arenât relevant, such as 401k and Roth IRA, but with a bit of imagination you can apply the ideas globally.

The Dan Carlins of Finance
Itâs so refreshing to hear a finance/investing podcast that doesnât aggressively recommend certain stocks but still manages to comment on the markets. Their financial advice goes beyond the traditional finance podcasts that have dozens of episodes based on âthe 10 things you should be doingâ that weâve all heard before as they bring in guests to their podcast.

My Favourite Podcast
This has been my favourite podcast for a few years now. I look forward to every new episode and donât skip any of them.
Itâs the perfect balance between being fun and informative. I like how they have a good blend between information on investing and the markets along with personal anecdotes from their personal lives.
Not bad from a couple of n00bwhales.
