I only listen to a few podcasts and this is one of them. The chemistry between the cohosts is excellent, and they strike a great balance between being funny/serious/informative/etc. I find many of the Friday interview guests super interesting too, even when whatever product/business they are selling is not directly relevant to me.
I always feel a little smarter listening to these guys/the rest of the compound crew. Definitely give it a shot!

Must Listen Every Wednesday
Ben and Michael are two of the top writers/thought thinkers in the financial space. Great insight and good laughs. Always recommend tuning in.

One of the best personal finance podcasts around
I listen to A LOT of personal finance podcasts. But Animal Spirits is the only one where I am excited to see that they’ve released a new podcast. Isn’t that the true measure of a good podcast- when you’ve subscribed to 100 podcast, but this is the first one you listen to when you open your podcast app? There are the ones you feel like you SHOULD listen to (here’s looking at you The Economist Radio podcast) but Animal Spirits is always enjoyable and educational. Check it out!

Animal spirits
Awesome show for both novices and advanced investors alike. The movie and tv recommendations might resemble what you hear from your weird uncle at thanksgiving dinner , but the podcast consists of stellar commentary on how to invest that can be understood by anybody. Keep up the great education on investing and the laughs.

Favorite Podcast
These guys are great, and give a rundown on recent market activity along with other relevant finance news. I look forward to the weekly Wed podcast release. Fun guys and good recommendations on books, however, Batnicks movie rec's are questionable :)
Just found out Ben's was an all state RB in HS. Didn't see that coming at all.

At least half of it is about finance.
Ben and Michael are quite the dynamic duo. They are always making me laugh and sometimes even teaching me some stuff as well.

It’s too bad more people don’t know about this podcast
I’ve been listening to Mike and Ben for over a year now and they really strike a great balance between entertainment and education. Not only do these guys cover important topics, but they explain them and tackle them in ways that everyone can understand. The guests that they have on the podcast are very interesting and I always look forward to learning about the unique topics they cover. Ben and Mike also go above and beyond to answer questions that you have about their show which I think is amazing.

I love this podcast
Decided to give Animal Spirits a try after seeing Ben and Michael on the Compound and it has become one of my top podcasts. Ben and Michael have natural banter and they cover interesting financial topics along with movies and books. Keep it up guys!

Humble wisdom and great banter

I did my undergrad in Economics and I am now doing a Master’s in Finance. The two hosts are what I aspire to be in terms of market experience and education. I am a huge fan of the topics discussed and the conversations in between.

Good stuff
I like these guys. They’re smart, no-nonsense, and give good advice. I like to hear their take on markets, investment strategies, and also what movies they like. Not bro-y like you might expect from a finance podcast, I’d have a beer with Ben and Mike.

One of the Absolute Best
This is one of the absolute best podcasts in terms of finance, investing, news, commentary, advice, insight, and wisdom wrapped into an easy to listen to package. Great job guys, very well done! Update - 240 episodes in and I’m still listening, which far exceeds my streak at Joe Rogan.

Great fun
Musings, markets and movies. I listen to this quick, intelligent banter when I walk or workout and am always entertained. Highly recommend.

Buy High, Sell Soul
Animal Spirits is my go-to weekly podcast. Full Stop. It’ll be a dark day if Michael and Ben ever stop the show. The content is great. Their banter is even better. Sometimes I don’t even listen to what they’re saying - they’re great to have on as white-noise in the background. But in all seriousness, their message and their method for responsible personal finance is really important and should be noted by anyone looking to learn how to better manage their money and their financial future. Lots of super dull investing shows out there. These guys make it fun and easy to listen to.
Also, I think the show is sped up in post, like what TBS did with sitcoms to squeeze in more ad space. Not that Animal Spirits is squeezing in ads, it’s just that no one can possibly speak as fast as these guys do. It’s almost hypnotic. Surely, it must be sped up.
Nonetheless. 10/10 podcast.

One of my favorites!
I’ve been a listener and reader of Michael and Ben for a long time, and Animal Spirits consistently provides relevant, current and important finance and personal finance information. They do a great job of summarizing what is going on in the markets, balancing humor and their personal experiences to give their message greater impact. It’s just the right length (~45 minutes) and frequency (1X or 2X a week) - I use it to keep up with the latest topics in finance and don’t feel like I am missing anything. They aren’t preachy, aren’t trying to sell you anything, and maintain their perspective using history and real-world human behavior observations. A great podcast for “Noobwhales” (inside joke) and experienced finance professionals alike.

Intelligent Market Commentary & Wealth Management Insights
Great investing and wealth management podcast for all investor types. Michael and Ben break down market headlines, talk wealth management strategies and help the average investor determine which surveys are in fact useless. Fun show in which the hosts do not take each other too seriously but have the knowledge / insight to keep you coming back for more. Each has written multiple books and both are CFAs.

Best Podcast in Finance
I work in the wealth management industry and have been listening to Michael and Ben since early 2018. It’s the first thing I listen to every Wednesday. You can tell that these guys genuinely care about their audience and put out meaningful content each week. These guys get it. A must listen for anyone working in wealth management or wants to learn more about finance.

I love the consistently transparent exchange these two engage in. I never miss an episode! Michael and Ben are knowledgeable but never condescending.....just a couple of professionals talking about the market and financial goings on......bravo gentlemen, bravo!
