Josh is Great
I like hearing Josh’s heartfelt opinions. I don’t agree with him on politics but I always enjoy hearing others’ perspectives nevertheless. Same with hearing others’ perspectives on stocks. That’s how you learn.

Glad I found this podcast
This show is outstanding. I manage mine, mom’s, wife’s, and 2 adult kiddos accounts because we’re an old school Hispanic family from the westside of San Antonio so it has to stay in house baby. This show shares insight but more importantly the right mindset to deal.

This show was amazing they would get on unique smart people with various views and lots interesting digestible information. They have put this millennial robot on the show 3 times now and find it to be a slog to listen to the episode every time. Not trying to be a hater, she seems very knowledgeable but Michael and Josh are very conversational which is needed on a podcast. That’s why everyone loves the Jill on Money episodes. Please find people that are easier to speak with and less data heads…

Salt of the earth podcast
As a professional commodities trader my urge to dabble in stocks is strong. Josh and Michael help keep me sane and informed. Their views on personal finance and the markets are distilled and long term. It is refreshing to hear calm and rational voices in the sea of noise. Thank you for entertaining me during the long hours on a trading desk.

Best markets podcast
Writing this from London … love the show. Really find the open discussion of the market and individual stocks really entertaining and educational. Often listen to the podcast so I miss all the “this is the best slide on this topic ever” … “next slide”. Suggestion: 10 minutes on emerging markets China vs India vs Anyone else. Anyway 👏👏👏👏👏

One of a kind investing podcast
This is definitely worth listening to. I really enjoy the occasional humor and pop culture references. Josh usually brings in great guests. Unfortunately, Batnick is sometimes loud and obnoxious. He likes to interrupt people. I deducted 1 star because of him. The What Are Your Thoughts? episodes have improved recently with the regular appearances of Nick Colas from DataTrek.

Good podcast
These people just shoot the bull about the market and the economy. Very entertaining, relaxing to listen to. Not sure if there’s much actionable investing advise, but I don’t think that’s their goal.

Show has changed and not for the better
In 2022, the show was a good guiding voice for reasonable behavior and caution. It really cautioned people about risks and problems. In 2024, they have completed transition to full on FOMO and YOLO pushing every sell-side idea. Josh is clearly lost in bragging about what he created; he wants to melt up like Dan Ives. Michael is real like his counterpart on Animal Spirits, Ben. AS is now clearly the better show.

DYING 😂 re: Crowdstrike hype
I love Josh but love him more when he is wrong (cuz hes so arrogant). He has been hyping Crowdstrike for months and the fact this "security" company just destroyed their reputation in the stupidest way ever is gold. They will be sued into bankruptcy

Best Financial Content in Podcastland
TCAF, WAYT, and Animal Spirits are the trifecta of shows that has the perfect blend of education and entertainment. Lectures tend to be boring regardless of how much you like the topic. Entertainment usually won’t teach you a whole lot. That’s exactly what these shows offer. Josh Brown, Michael Batnick, and Ben Carlson have amazing chemistry and knowledge. I genuinely feel like I’m listening to friends chit chat. They don’t always agree and everything, which is refreshing.
