This is worth listening to weekly. I enjoy the occasional humor and pop culture references. They bring in some great guests and have interesting discussions about the market and economy. Unfortunately, Batnick is usually loud and obnoxious. He regularly interrupts people and can be rude. I deducted 1 star because of Batnick. Lastly, I’m not a fan of their What Are Your Thoughts? episodes.

6th best investing podast? I'm going long on that ranking, goin' to Number 1, baby!

Never thought a financial podcast could be entertaining, these guys pulled it off. Informative and fun.

TCAF is my favorite investing podcast. Josh & Michael, keep up the excellent work. From a retired Wharton MBA in Finance, raised in Queens, but living in Texas for the last 45 years, and fully focused on investing for the last 8 years.

I’ll start with a couple little issues. 1. Josh hates Twitter/Elon Musk and finds a way to bash them almost every episode 2. They spend too much time talking about restaurants in NYC. No one cares that you think that restaurant on 5th avenue is better than the one in Brooklyn Apart from these two minor annoyances, this is the best finance podcast in the business. Always worth your time. As a fellow bald, Michael is the man.

I feel like I’m back on the trading floor listening to this podcast. They tell it like it is and I enjoy their sense of humor as well.

These guys are truly in a league of their own. Between the banter, guests, and current market discussions, you won’t find a better business and investing podcast out there.

Fun listen with good chemistry between the hosts and guests

Love these guys! They are really entertaining and provide excellent financial content on the markets. They also dive into market analysis and why the markets are moving the way they are, while being hilarious at the same time.

Listen every week while on my run. Pointed questions, excellent banter, learn a ton, and openly laugh multiple times per show. An instant classical was Michael’s “should I be excited, or should I sell” when opening the discussion on investing in China with Michael Cembalest. I stopped and replayed this section of the show three times, causing me to uncontrollable laugh out loud each time. Major Bonus: ending the show with Favorites. I listen to The Compound and Friends, Ask the Compound, and Animal Spirits. RWM takes a lot of my podcast bandwidth. Interesting market commentary, even for someone who is mostly indexed with retirement accounts 100% in Target Date funds.

Listening to the Compound and friends is one of the highlights of my week! Educational and hilarious!

Josh and Micheal provide an unbiased long term view of the market. Are well spoken and ask informed questions of their guests. Their guests include a variety of opinions and view points (not always a bill or bear case). Josh and Micheal press in the basis of these views in a professional tone - conceding nobody really knows the markets future. I prefer Thursdays show to Tuesdays and rarely miss listening to a Thursday show!

To begin, I just want to say this is the first review I’ll ever write on a podcast. Mainly because I could not find the “Leave a review” button but also because I just haven’t found a podcast that I genuinely love tuning in to. That said, I’ve been listening to The Compound for almost two years now after one of my co-workers recommended it. Loved at first listen! Josh and Michael bring such great character, topics, and lively brother banter to each show, whether it’s a What Are Your Thoughts or a Compound & Friends episode. What Are Your Thoughts is my favorite out of the two though, since these started being released in 2023. I look forward to each Tuesday night because of it and can’t wait to watch it on YouTube 😆. Don’t get me wrong though, I love the Compound & Friends episodes too, they just aren’t as much fun as Josh and Michael alone on What Are Your Thoughts. My favorite show guests are Tom Lee, JC, and Belski the Bull. One thing I enjoy about Josh are his words, I learn at least one new word a week from the man and I’m kind of a southern boy so his Jersey accent helps me develop in listening. Two things I enjoy about Michael are his quick quick witted market calls and comments when he disrespects Josh, his podcast dad haha. Also, I love how John takes the “Chart Off” commands lightly, sometimes Josh and Michael can be overly commanding lol. So you wanted to know what’re my thoughts, here they are and I hope they bring a smile to the Compound’s podcast faces. 5/5 high fi ✋🏻

Very informative info, presented with sarcastic honesty about the difficulty of investing, which makes it fun as well. Great guests.

The guests are diverse in thought and the insights they provide are thoughtful. But The chemistry of the guys are what makes it so listenable and entertaining.
