Been following Downtown Josh Brown for years. His twitter-game was envious; still sad that he left. But its great to get his hot-takes and commentary on the market every week. These guys are extremely genuine and really do want to help people. I always recommend my friends to listen whenever they want a place to start with investing.

I’m confused
I don’t understand why The Compound & Friends is a podcast but not the regular Compound with Josh & Michael. I’d like to be able to listen to The Compound instead of going on YouTube. What’s the deal???

General review
I think this podcast is so entertaining. It feels like people sitting in a living room talking authentically. I always learn something, and while the cast is far more knowledgeable than me, I never feel like I’m being talked down to.

Can be great when they have a grip
Dope charts was great. If you want to hear 4 clueless people sitting around guessing how the market works listen to 60/40 - which was aimless. Would have been better from Shake Shack

Down to earth Josh is great
I am a young investor and have loved listening to Josh and following him on CNBC when he is on. He reminds me of my dad always telling me to do nothing in times of exuberance or extreme pessimism. I have read his book as well and it’s great! He is the real deal and so true and authentic.
However the podcast with Dan Nathan and Dow Jones girl, was just awkward. Definitely should have been on at different times. Her sense of humor just is too out there. Would have loved to just hear Dan Nathan solo on the show.

Maybe just have one guest?
Love the show! Also the content that Michael and Josh put out on YouTube on Tuesdays is excellent. Honestly some of the best things that came out of the last year plus.
Just listened to the 9/17 episode though, and there just seems to be too much going on. Too much talking over each other, and the standup routine Haley was going with was starting to get irritating. Too much of an act versus an intellectual conversation. Obviously you got to entertain so tough balance, don’t mean to be overly critical, but it stood out to me this time. Looking forward to next week, thanks guys!

Great show
Funny and informative. Terrific banter between the host(s) and guests. My only criticism is that the words “like” and “right” are used entirely too much.
